They say Woodbridge, or Maple, or Kleinburg. The City of Vaughan is officially made up of five communities: Concord, Kleinburg, Maple, Thornhill and Woodbridge. They are different enough from each other that quoting a job here without asking which one you are in would be guessing.
Two of them catch people out on the address alone. Kleinburg is split: the historic village core carries an L0J rural postal code, while the newer subdivisions built onto it use L4H. Thornhill is split across two different cities — L4J on the Vaughan side of Yonge Street, L3T on the Markham side. We clean both sides; we mention it because it is the kind of thing that goes wrong when a company works off a postal code lookup instead of asking.

Large homes are where the pricing actually differs
Woodbridge and Kleinburg in particular run to larger detached and estate homes, and that is where the way we price stops being a technicality. Most companies advertising in Vaughan sell packages by room count — two rooms for one price, three for another. We price by room type, so a $30 closet is $30 and not a fifth of a package, and once a visit reaches five areas the whole carpet subtotal drops 10%.
On a large home that is usually the cheaper arithmetic. On a single small room it is not: our minimum service call is $175, which is more than some advertised opening prices in this city. We would rather say that plainly here than at your door.
Around the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre the housing is newer and denser, and the constraint shifts from house size to building access — elevator bookings and insurance certificates, the same as any tower.
