Caledon Carpet Cleaning,
done right.

Caledon's larger properties and rural homes are exactly what our portable, no-truck-hose system was built for — full flexibility, no compromise on power. Longer driveways and larger square footage aren't a problem — our equipment runs fully portable, so distance from the truck never limits suction power.

Run by Kharl Reynolds, who quotes the job and does the cleaning himself. Over six years cleaning carpet and upholstery, insured, and the only person who will be in your home.

Caledon is acreage. Estate homes and farmhouses out through Palgrave, Alton and Inglewood, long gravel laneways, and Bolton as the one part that looks like an ordinary subdivision. The distance between where a van can park and where the carpet actually is decides more here than anywhere else we work. A $40 travel service fee may apply, because Caledon sits outside our core Brampton area.

Why Caledon homeowners choose us

  • The hose is the problem out here, and we do not have one. A truck mount feeds its line from the van to the carpet, and every extra foot bleeds suction. On a long gravel laneway that is not a minor inconvenience, it is the job. Our equipment is carried to the room and runs at full 250 PSI however far the parking spot is.
  • Well water changes what is already in the carpet. A good number of properties past Bolton are on a private well rather than municipal supply, and the mineral content shows up in the fibre over time.
  • Acreage brings different soil. Farm boots, trail dirt and pets that genuinely live outdoors put more ground-in material into a carpet than a suburban entryway sees.
  • Rugs are cleaned in place. Natural fibre and dense pile get a colourfastness test and a weaker solution, on the floor, with no off-site pickup and no waiting to get the piece back.
  • The price is published. Room rates and a $175 minimum, on this page and in the estimator.
  • Free re-clean if you are not happy. 48 hours to tell us, and we come back to the area at no charge.

A Recent Caledon Project

A large patterned area rug in a Caledon living room needed in-home cleaning after years of everyday use. Rugs like this — natural fibre, dense pile, a detailed medallion pattern — need a gentler approach than standard synthetic broadloom, so we tested colourfastness before starting and adjusted our solution strength accordingly. The rug came up with its pattern and texture clean and even, cleaned in place without the risk or delay of an off-site pickup service.

Upholstery in Palgrave

A sofa clean out in Palgrave, mid-job. The cushions come off and get done separately, because the seams and the deck they sit on are where soil collects and neither is reachable with the cushions in place. The thick blue line is the vacuum hose and the thinner one carries solution to the wand: pre-spray, agitate, extract, the same sequence as carpet. On a pile fabric like this one the passes show as stripes until it dries, which is a useful thing to know before you look at your own sofa an hour after we leave and think something has gone wrong.

A cream sectional, start to finish

Thirty seconds from the same run of work, filmed on the job. A pale sectional is the piece people worry most about, because every mark shows and there is nowhere for a mistake to hide. The cushions come off, the deck and the seams get done first, then the faces, then the backs.

The last few seconds are the piece back together in the room. What a video cannot show is the part that matters most on light fabric, which is how wet it was left. Too much solution and not enough extraction is what makes a pale sofa dry stiff and go grey at the edges.

A sectional this size is $250 on the rate card, and any visit that includes furniture carries a $250 minimum. Caledon is outside Brampton, so a $40 travel service fee may apply.

Our carpet cleaning process

Most people call it steam cleaning. The technical name is hot water extraction and there is no steam in it. Every Caledon job runs the same six steps.

1. Inspect. Condition, fibre type and scope before anything is sprayed.
2. Vacuum. Dry soil first, or it turns to mud.
3. Pre-treat. Alkaline pre-spray on lanes, spot treatment on marks.
4. Agitate. Works solution into the pile where soil sits.
5. Hot water extraction. 250 PSI, then an acidic rinse so no detergent stays behind.
6. Final inspection. Walked together. Dry to the touch in 4 to 6 hours.

The vocabulary, in plain English

Steam cleaning versus hot water extraction, what 250 PSI actually measures, what the IICRC training covers, and why we keep going on about pH. It is all defined on the carpet cleaning page, along with what happens step by step if you decide to book.

Caledon homes we serve

Acreage properties through Palgrave, Alton and Inglewood, often on a private well, where a whole-property booking can include detached structures as well as the house. Larger established homes and longer driveways around Caledon East. Bolton, which is the exception: municipal water, shorter driveways, condos and townhomes, and a cleaning profile much closer to the rest of the GTA than to the rest of Caledon. Farmhouses where the carpet has been down long enough that the fibre is identified rather than assumed.

Caledon communities we serve

We clean throughout Caledon, including Bolton, Caledon East, Palgrave, Alton, Inglewood, Cheltenham, Belfountain, Caledon Village, Mono Mills and Terra Cotta, along with the rural addresses between them.

Carpet cleaning prices in Caledon

The room rates are identical in Bolton and at the end of a laneway near Palgrave, with no call-out fee and nothing added for the length of the driveway. Caledon sits outside our core Brampton service area, so a $40 travel service fee may apply. Three Caledon layouts:

A living room and one small bedroom

$99 and $69 comes to $168, seven dollars under our $175 minimum service call, so the visit is $175.

A three-bedroom Bolton townhouse

Large bedroom $99, two small bedrooms at $69 each and the living room at $99 — $336 across four areas.

A farmhouse: three small bedrooms, a large bedroom, living room and two hallways

Three at $69, one at $99, $99 for the living room and $45 for each hallway is $495 at list. Seven areas, so the 10% discount applies: $445.50.

Area rugs are sized by dimensions and billed at full price on top of the discounted carpet subtotal, from $80 up to 5×7. Stairs are $6 a step with an $85 minimum per staircase. We clean rugs but do not repair them — fringe work, binding and reweaving are another trade. The estimator builds your exact figure in about two minutes.

Frequently asked questions

How much does carpet cleaning cost in Caledon?

Carpet is priced by room type. A small room up to 200 sq ft is $69, a large room or living room is $99, a hallway is $45 and a closet is $30. Five or more areas takes 10% off the carpet subtotal, and every booking carries a $175 minimum service call. The rates are identical in Bolton and at the end of a rural laneway, though Caledon sits outside our core Brampton area, so a $40 travel service fee may apply.

My driveway is long and gravel. Is that a problem?

Not for us, and it is the main reason people out here call. A truck-mounted system feeds a hose from the van to the carpet, and suction drops over the run, so a long laneway genuinely limits what that equipment can do. Ours is carried to the room instead and works at full pressure regardless of where the vehicle sits.

We are on a well rather than municipal water. Does that matter?

It shows up in the carpet over time. Well water often carries a different mineral content than municipal supply, and that gradually works into the fibre. It does not change the method, but it is part of why rural carpet can look tired sooner than the same carpet in Bolton.

Can you clean a patterned area rug without taking it away?

Yes, in the room it lives in. Natural fibre with a dense pile needs a gentler approach than synthetic broadloom, so colourfastness is tested before anything is applied and the solution strength is adjusted down. Nothing leaves the property and there is no wait to get the piece back. We clean rugs but do not repair them.

Do you clean detached structures as well as the house?

Carpet in a finished space is carpet wherever it is, and whole-property bookings out past Bolton often include more than the main house. Tell us what is carpeted when you call and it is priced by area the same way.

How long does carpet take to dry?

Dry to the touch in four to six hours and fully dry within twenty-four. Airflow and humidity move it within that range, and we can advise on fan placement for a faster turnaround.

Do I need to move furniture before you arrive?

No. Kharl moves standard furniture, sofas, chairs, coffee tables and area rugs, and puts it back. Beds, dressers and anything heavy or fragile stay where they are and we clean around them.
