Georgetown Carpet Cleaning,
done right.
Serving the Georgetown community within Halton Hills — from character homes near Main Street to newer subdivisions in Georgetown South. Older Georgetown homes often have original carpet and wool-blend rugs that need gentler treatment, which Kharl is trained to assess before starting.
Run by Kharl Reynolds, who quotes the job and does the cleaning himself. Over six years cleaning carpet and upholstery, insured, and the only person who will be in your home.
Rate card
Georgetown is a town inside Halton Hills, and most of it is compact. Georgetown South, North and Delrex are straightforward houses with driveways you can park on, where the usual booking is every carpeted area in one visit. Out toward Glen Williams and Silver Creek it turns semi-rural, and that changes the soil more than the price. A $40 travel service fee may apply, because Georgetown sits outside our core Brampton area.
Why Georgetown homeowners choose us
- The number is published before anyone visits. Almost no Georgetown-area company publishes a rate at all. The only public local figure we could find is a crowd-sourced range on a review site, which is what people report paying rather than a price on offer.
- Whole-house is the normal booking here, and it prices better. A typical Georgetown home clears five areas, which takes 10% off the carpet subtotal. Counting properly before you book is worth real money.
- Older Delrex carpet gets identified before it gets sprayed. Carpet that has been down for years varies more in fibre than a new subdivision does, and wool cannot take the pre-spray a synthetic traffic lane needs.
- The rural edge is priced the same. Glen Williams and Silver Creek are on the same rate card as the middle of town.
- The person who quotes it does it. Kharl Reynolds owns the business and runs the wand.
- Free re-clean if you are not happy. 48 hours to tell us, and we come back to the area at no charge.
Georgetown carpet cleaning, a real result
Issue: the dulling that builds so gradually you stop seeing it, from foot traffic and settled airborne dust
Method: pre-spray, agitation and hot water extraction, then an acidic rinse so nothing tacky is left in the pile
Result: lighter and more even in tone, with the extraction lines still visible in the photograph
A Recent Georgetown Project
One bedroom in a Georgetown home, photographed straight after hot water extraction. The stripes across the middle are the wand passes, and they are the reason we tell people not to judge a clean while it is still damp: they fade out as the carpet dries and the pile stands back up. The small dimples near the wall are furniture dents where the bed frame has been sitting, which lift over the following days rather than immediately.

What a bedroom like this costs is in the rate card above, and the four booking mistakes that turn one appointment into two are in this guide.

The vocabulary, in plain English
Steam cleaning versus hot water extraction, what 250 PSI actually measures, what the IICRC training covers, and why we keep going on about pH. It is all defined on the carpet cleaning page, along with what happens step by step if you decide to book.

The village edge at Glen Williams and Silver Creek, more wooded and semi-rural, where longer driveways and larger properties bring mud in after the spring thaw and after heavy rain. Carpet cleaning prices in Georgetown
The room rates are the same in central Georgetown South as out toward Glen Williams, with no call-out fee. Georgetown sits outside our core Brampton service area, so a $40 travel service fee may apply on top. Three Georgetown layouts:
A living room and hallway
$99 plus $45 comes to $144. That falls under our $175 minimum service call, so the visit is $175.
Two small bedrooms, a large bedroom and a living room
Four areas, no discount yet: $336.
The same four rooms, plus a closet
Adding the $30 closet brings the subtotal to $366, but it is also the fifth area, which triggers the 10% discount. The visit comes to $329.40, which is $6.60 less than cleaning four areas.
Stairs are quoted separately at $6 a step with an $85 minimum per staircase, so a 13-step flight works out to $78 on the per-step rate and the $85 minimum applies instead. If you are comparing quotes, the four booking mistakes that turn one Georgetown appointment into two is worth ten minutes. The estimator builds your exact figure in about two minutes.

Frequently asked questions
How much does carpet cleaning cost in Georgetown?
We publish the rate: $69 a small room, $99 a large room or living room, $45 a hallway of any length, $30 a closet, with 10% off at five areas or more and a $175 minimum service call. No call-out fee. Most Georgetown-area companies do not publish a rate card at all. The only public local figure we could find is a crowd-sourced range on a review site, which is what other people report paying rather than a price anyone is offering. Georgetown sits outside our core Brampton area, so a $40 travel service fee may apply.
Is it cheaper to add a room than to leave it out?
Sometimes, and it catches people out. Four areas comes to $336. Adding a $30 closet makes five, which triggers the 10% discount, and the visit drops to $329.40. The closet effectively pays for itself. It does not work with a $45 hallway as the fifth area, so it is worth counting before you book rather than after.
Do you charge extra to come out to Glen Williams?
The room rates do not change between central Georgetown South and the rural addresses out toward Glen Williams or Silver Creek, and there is no call-out fee. The one thing on top is the $40 travel service fee that may apply anywhere outside Brampton, which is our core service area.
My carpet in Delrex has been down a long time. Can it still be cleaned?
Usually, and the fibre matters more than the age. Older Georgetown housing turns up more variety than a new subdivision does, including wool blends that cannot take the pH 12.3 pre-spray a synthetic traffic lane needs. Those get the acidic rinse on its own instead. We identify the fibre before anything is sprayed, and we will tell you honestly if a carpet is past what cleaning can do for it.
How long does carpet take to dry?
Dry to the touch in four to six hours and fully dry within twenty-four. Airflow and humidity move it within that range, and we can advise on fan placement for a faster turnaround.
Do I need to move furniture before you arrive?
No. Kharl moves standard furniture, sofas, chairs, coffee tables and area rugs, and puts it back. Beds, dressers and anything heavy or fragile stay where they are and we clean around them.
Can you come at short notice?
Often. The room rates do not change for short notice. A same-day visit carries a $50 priority surcharge; next-day and later does not. What limits us is the calendar, not the rate card.
Real reviews from real customers.
