How much does carpet cleaning cost in Milton?
Carpet is priced by room type. A small room up to 200 sq ft is $69, a large room or living room is $99, a hallway is $45 and a closet is $30. My Milton home is brand new. Does the carpet still need cleaning?
Usually yes, and sooner than people expect. In a new subdivision the carpet was often laid weeks or months before your possession date, sitting through construction dust, packaging and the off-gassing that comes with new adhesive and underlay. The faint chemical smell or slightly dull look in brand-new carpet is normally that residue rather than a defect, and an extraction clean takes it out before it joins the household dust cycle.
Do you clean older wool carpet in Old Milton?
Yes, and it is cleaned differently. The pre-spray that suits a synthetic traffic lane runs at pH 12.3, which is far too alkaline for wool. Wool gets the acidic rinse on its own, at pH 4.2 to 4.5, and no alkaline pre-spray at all. We identify the fibre before anything is sprayed rather than assuming.

How long does carpet take to dry?
Dry to the touch in four to six hours and fully dry within twenty-four. Newer Milton homes with forced-air systems tend to be at the faster end of that window.
Do I need to move furniture before you arrive?
No. Kharl moves standard furniture, sofas, chairs, coffee tables and area rugs, and puts it back. Beds, dressers and anything heavy or fragile stay where they are and we clean around them.
Can you come at short notice for a handover?
Often. End-of-lease and possession-day customers call the day before regularly and the room rates do not change for short notice. A same-day visit carries a $50 priority surcharge; next-day and later does not. Two or three days is better, because it gives the carpet time to dry before a walkthrough.
